Effluent Treatment Plant For Biomedical/Pharmaceutical Waste Industries

Unistar offer for best technology Biomedical/pharmaceutical waste manufacturers, water becomes the most important resource which is utilized at various stages and manufacturing right from start of production. As a result, the sewage or the effluent becomes the most hazardous one, as it contains a range of ingredients and other solids and harmful waste that it needs to be treated before disposing it off safely into the environment.

Conversely, to remove such effluents through conventional and handpicked ways, are not considered to be safe and secure and such ways fail to be in compliance with the latest government guidelines on such effluent disposal problems. Seeking assistance from any prominent manufacturer of effluent treatment plant for biomedical waste pharmaceutical industry would always be the best step forward in this regard.

As such, pharmaceutical companies are always found to require an effective framework to dispose-off the effluent and wastewater that is left during scores of processes typical to the industry and with best effluent treatment plant for pharmaceutical industry in place, wastewater can be treated and managed for safe disposal in nature or even for reuse. In this, we prevail to be a major contributor to pharmaceutical companies with our cutting edge wastewater and effluent treatment plants putting up the best performance ever, to rid the set-up of unwanted effluent but which needs to be treated before being disposed off into environment with safety.

With uniquely innovative effluent disposing products and maintenance services, we intend to control the flow of sulphate, COD (chemical Oxygen Demand), TSS (Total Suspended Solids), TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) are present in such effluent. Henceforth, we have registered a commendable performance in such field with our unique items such as effluent treatment plant for pharmaceutical industry, where our insightful engineers simply think about the future and about unique ways to approach the menace of effluent circulation with diligently designed measures. Such plants are pretty cost- affective too and are easy to operate and manage, while our team at backend, is always ready to extend the required help, assistance and training for further servicing and maintenance.

We can even design custom systems to suit your specific requirements and to enable our engineering spirit to your cause.

WASTE WATER AND TREATED WATER CHARACTERSTICS:-
Wastewater will have the following characteristics of before and after treatment as per PCB norms. As the BOD load is equally distributed in daily discharge, no separate BOD removal is suggested.

TREATMENT CONCEPT
The effluent reach to ETP from all the streams is made homogeneous in the underground equalization tank, after subjected to, bar screen chamber, and Oil and grease trap.

  • Air agitation is being provided in the equalization tank to ensure homogeneity.
  • Effluent is lifted and transferred to flash mixer, where coagulant/chemicals are being added by dosing.
  • Dosing is achieved by automatic dosing pumps for precise quantities of chemical dosing.
  • Air agitation is provided in dosing tanks and flash mixer for mixing of solutions.
  • The air quantity can be regulated by valves provided in the piping.
  • The overflow solution of flash mixer shall be taken to clari-flocculator tank.
  • Flocculent chemical is added in this tank with dosing pump, which help the impurities to form large flocs in the form of sludge.
  • The clarifier is inclined tube type settler, having tubepac media for sludge separation. These are inclined tubes made out of PVC material, placed at an angle of 600.
  • Sludge settles at the bottom of tube settler and treated water goes to biological treatment.
  • Sludge from the bottom of the clarifier in being taken to sludge drying beds or filter press system for dewatering.
  • Sludge cakes are being formed after separation of water.
  • Solid waste will be transferred to land fill or PCB designated sites.
  • Sludge settles at the bottom of secondary tube settler and treated water overflows to treated water holding tank.
  • Filtered water from sludge dewatering system will be taken back to equalization tank.
  • Water from TWHT is being transferred to DMF (Dual Media Filter) for final treatment of TSS.
  • Water from DMF is being transferred to ACF (Activated Carbon Filter) for treatment of Color, Odor etc.
  • Finally water will be discharged or used for horticulture.
